Brief
Design and produce a bespoke chandelier available in varying sizes with a potential drop of six metres.
Development
Advances’ design engineers worked with traditional craftsman to create a modern scalable design that could be produced in volumes of three sizes – 0.5 metres, 1.0 metres and 1.5 metres.
Each chandelier was hand welded, chrome plated, re-welded, re-chromed and then polished before the low voltage lighting was installed.
Delivery
Each chandelier was assembled on site and installed by a team of expert fitters. The bespoke nature of the design meant that each installation was unique.
Summary
The chandelier installations were intended for a small number of stores but due to their success were used by the interior designers for over three years in over 100 stores.
