Advance LED Lighting Solutions has a long charitable history including activities ranging from smaller local associations, through to international fundraising events generating thousands of pounds for different causes.
These have included humanitarian appeals such as the Pakistan Flood Appeal, through to support for charities that are closer to home, such as Breakthrough Breast Cancer and even small grass roots charities such as Dolly’s Day, Alzheimer’s charity.
One of the most impressive aspects of Advance is the genuine drive of all the staff to get involved and support the different fundraising opportunities available. We’ve done smaller events, such as ‘charity Bake-Offs’, ‘family fun days’ which have been great fun, and then our ongoing ‘challenges’. Without the support of the staff here at Advance and our clients, these events simply would not be possible.
To date, Advances’ history of contribution, has amounted to over £50,000 – a staggering amount for an SME.
We are committed at Advance to sustaining our fundraising activities in the future, and we hope that our clients, friends and partners will continue with their fantastic support for all our charitable activities.

Lyon to Monaco 2016
In 2016, Advance fundraised for Aquabox, a small charity based in Derbyshire, who provide emergency aid boxes to those affected by drought, earthquake, floods or conflict with a specific focus on providing clean water filtration. These boxes have been sent to areas such as Nepal, Cameroon, the Philippines and Syria.
Over the course of the year, we ran a series of fundraising events to achieve our £10,000 fundraising goal including a car boot sale, charity dinner’s and a summer fundraising event.
The culmination of this fundraising year for Aquabox was a 48okm fundraising cycle trip from Lyon to Monaco involving Advance employees, clients and associates. The cycle was an incredible challenge, taking in spectacular scenery across the Alps down to the French Riviera to finish in Monaco. Images from the event can be viewed here.
Advance was proud to donate £10,051.59 to Aquabox at the end of 2016.
