Advance is pleased to announce the internal promotion of Joe Weaver to Junior Estimator, joining the Project Enquiry Team (PET).

Joe initially joined Advance in 2015 as Catering Manager in Elements Coffee Lounge having worked in the catering industry for the past 10 years.

Keen to become involved with the lighting side of Advance, Joe was offered the opportunity to learn more about estimating and project management, joining PET as Junior Estimator.

Following a successful trial period, Joe is now a fully fledged member of the team and is going from strength to strength in his new role. Within a relatively short space of time, Joe has become a key part of the team taking on the project management of a key customer account win for a national supermarket chain. Liaising with suppliers to fulfil the project, Joe has become a key link between the PET, Operations and Production teams.

Operations Director and Joe’s manager Craig Price said: ‘I am really pleased with Joe’s progress : he has fitted into PET very well and become an integral part of the team in a short space of time. I look forward to seeing his continued progress at Advance. As a company we actively encourage staff if they have an interest in joining other departments to ‘up-skill’ and develop their knowledge.’
